I actually talked with Jace yesterday and i will from now on play other classes than spy and sniper all the time to ease up a bit on all the rage.

It's OK if you're getting bored Marten, I think you are experiencing game burnout! Just go play another game for a while, and don't play TF2, and after like a month or two when you get back into it the game will be fun again.
(Personally I have been playing a lot of BF4 lately and I'm starting to get a little bored of it, and hopping onto TF2 yesterday was definitely more fun than I expected it to be considering I was going rocket jumper / BASE jumper / Market gardener! )

C&C Not quite Mary but it is RTS. You get money to buy units from capturing stores scattered along roads.

Its not a typical tank rush game like C&C. RUSE has a deeper strategy, need to plan what units to build and where on the map to exploit. Playing a RUSE can help you win, for eg temping your enemy to attack a fake base or units. It has a good second world war feel, I like to play the germans with the deadly flak 88, and various panzers.

Dropping paratroops behind the lines to capture enemy buildings is also good fun, provided they dont get shot down enroute.

Game is smooth, never crashes and the graphics are very good. I play skirmish only.

Why is everyone so horrible to Marten? I don't get it.

His description of the troll tactic sounds completely viable to me... Do you realize how many point pushes I have aided my team with while I occupy several people at their spawn with a jumping Balls?

It is a team game which doesn't mean everyone should do everything the rest of the team wants all of the time... Surely it just means that people should play to their strengths? Marten defends flanks better than pretty much anyone else.

And I don't understand this recent trend of accusing everyone of scripting and hacking...
