It's the sheer skill we have at killing them so easily.

When a spy kills you it is your own fault for not watching your back, you can at most blame it on the pyro. When you are shooting multiple enemies, staying away from the range of the enemy sentry and you suddenly get killed by someone who takes less than 10 pixels on your screen it isn't a very pleasant experience.

i dont hate snipers.

They're not hated, they're just too afraid to get social and close to people. This in turn makes such a cold and harsh personage out of the snipers and THAT is what most people dislike...
That and their coward, long range, ''I-shoot-you-but-you-can't-hit-me'' policy combined with a dose of lethal lead on high speed collision course with said sniper's target's head(or arrow, yes we won't forget you arrow users)
AKA They're rats, worse than those shapeshifting ones!

PS: I don't hate the most of them, just the good ones that can actually shoot through the head of a scout that's hopping in all directions without the use of haxx or luck.

I enjoy killing scouts for the reason that they are hard to hit. Especially at close range. A few times its almost pure luck, but when its not it feels like much more of an accomplishment than say killing a heavy.

I hate snipers. I'm happy to admit it I don't mind so much if you can see who has shot you but when they are so far away from the action you cant actually see them it's simply annoying. Anyone with little experience or skill can stand in one spot shooting into a crowd and get kills. And they get way too many points for it too.
Make their reload even slower or reduce their zoom distance.

LOL I beg to differ on the 'spamming' issue JumpinJesus.
For reasons:

* A pipe cant take you out with one shot.
* It takes some skill to get down behind the block in the first place avoiding snipers, rockets , pipes and stickies, heavy weapons fire and flares etc. But it doesn't take any skill to stand motionless with your back against a wall.
* You can see a pipe bomb. You can't see a sniper's bullet.
* You can avoid a pipe. You cant avoid something you cant see (as above).
* You can't see where a sniper bullet has come from to locate the Sniper.
* Demo's can't fire rounds so the have no choice.
* Every class can shoot indiscriminately and get kills, only snipers rely on it.
* Snipers are tranny point scoring cowards.

No need to defend yourself, Sponge. Pipe bomb spamming isn't any better. You are right when you say that you can see a pipe bomb and a single one can't kill you, but when you send 4 while another demoman is sending his 4 your innocent pipes lose their innocence.

Anyway, demomen can do other stuff, snipers can only shoot from the other end of the map ... this update tried to change that, I still can't tell if it succeeded.
