Gazz

My name is Gareth hence my online name of Gazz.
I was born in March 1980 in North Wales and I am currently living on Anglesey. I work for a goverment organisation in the I.T. department. I support desktop PC's, servers, and networks running XP, Win2003, Linux and Netware using VMware and Citrix. I studied electronics in college but then decide to I prefered I.T. so I'm self taught in that department. Started with computers with an Amiga 500 and then 1200 and even had a 420MB external HDD for it. After the 1200 and the demize of Amiga got a PC, a Pentium 166 if I recall and then did then took the usual route of upgrading and learning things along the way. Also owned a NES, N64, CD32, Vic20, C64 and currently own a Wii. Happy to help any (>Nutters<) with any I.T. problems, payment in Jack ;) Before TF2 I used to play Action Quake 2 for many years, stuck on a 56k modem whilst everyone around me got ISDN or ADSL. Amongst other things also played Battle Field, Rocket Arena and CS online and attended 2 of the early I-Series events, I3 and I5.
Favorite TF2 class is ofcourse the heavy but I depend of some on the very skillful (>Nutter<) medics, Mamba, Jackknife Johnny, Astroman and Dog to name a few. Also enjoy playing as a Medic or Demoman but I'd like to think I can play most classes effectivly apart from the Spy which I'm hopeless with.
When I'm not playing TF2 I try to spend most of my time out walking in the hills with my Ipod or friends. Luckliy I have a lot of hills to choose from around here. I've complete the national 3 peaks challange and Yorkshire 3 peaks challange and am always on the look out for new goals to keep me motivated so I don't turn into a blob sat in front of a PC all day!
Listen to a fair bit of music and have quite a diverse taste, from Metalica to Bowie. Favorite band is GNR who I've seen live twice, unfortunatly not the original lineup but their Paris gig was amazing, easily the best I've been too. Currently spending most time listening to Elbow, The Delays, Kings of Leon, Muse and Smashing Pumpkins.
For future reference if you ever want to buy me a drink it's a double JD with or without coke, I'm not fussy :D Gazz
P.S. Can we have no more <Insert Letter Here>az names as I can never make out if people say Gaz or Daz which is really confusing :)
